We have a few recipes here for making slime. This is great fun for play but they can also be tied into learning experiences too!

Stir Thickening Slime
Some liquids become easier to move as you stir and others become harder. Those that become harder are known as stir-thickening and cornflour is a common contributor to this in the kitchen. You will need a plastic tray for them to play with this recipe.

• 1 cup cornflour
• 1 cup water, with colouring added
